Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors

Requirements:

Licensed by the Department of State Health Services as an LCDC.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen for work with TDCJ.
Knowledge of Treatment Basics

Counselor Interns

Requirements:

Licensed by the Department of State Health Services as a Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern, or
Possess a college degree in an applicable field of study
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Direct Care Staff

Requirements:

Valid Texas Drivers License or ID Card
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
No substance abuse history within at least the past 1 year.
