What to Bring?
We understand that admitted to a program for treatment can be intimidating, and we hope to make your recovery journey as comfortable as possible. Below are the allowable items you may bring with you for admission to a Land Manor program:
7 – Pairs of Underwear, Undershirts & Socks
4 – Pairs of Pants, Jeans or Slacks
4 – Pairs of Shorts
7 – Shirts
2 – Pairs of Shoes
1 – Pair of Sandals, Slippers, or Flip Flops
2 – Pairs of Pajamas or Sleeping Clothes
Person Hygiene items are allowed, such as deodorant, hairspray, toothpaste, or similar items, however, you may not bring in cologne, aftershave (with alcohol), or mouthwash (with alcohol). Alcohol-free aftershave and/or mouthwash are permitted. Personal Items such as combs, brushes, razors, or clipper are allowed, however you may NOT share these items with others in the program, they are solely for personal use. Small electronics such as IPOD, or other MP3 players are allowed, however they may not independently connect to the internet (via cellular phone service). No phones are permitted. Computers, Laptops, iPad, or similar items are not permitted.
All prescription medication shall be brought to admission and will be stored by Land Manor throughout your admission. You will be allowed to take any prescription medication, legally prescribed by your primary care provider, however, any narcotic based medications MUST be approved by your doctor after being notified on your admission to treatment.
What do the Facilities Provide?
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
All Land Manor programs have laundry facilities onsite, free of charge, for use during your admission. You may bring or purchase your own laundry detergent; however, detergent is also provided. Laundry schedules are unique to each program and will be posted at the facility.
MEALS AND SNACKS
All Land Manor programs have onsite kitchens and cooks, and three meals per day along with snacks will be provided. If you have food allergies, or special dietary needs, you will need to notify staff during intake. Clients are also allowed shopping time during the week where they may purchase their own snacks for personal consumption. Clients are provided dry-storage areas to keep those goods. You are not permitted to purchase items that require refrigeration, nor are you able to store food inside of any bedroom.
RECREATION
All Land Manor programs provide for recreational activities and outings that are included as part of your stay. More information will be provided upon admission to the program.
MONEY
Clients do not need money for any aspect associated with their admission, however each client is responsible for payment of medical needs, prescriptions, or other outside services that are not part of the Land Manor program. As noted above, shopping trips are available for clients to use their own money for the purchase of snacks, hygiene, or other personal items. While recreational opportunities are covered by Land Manor, client may wish to purchase items while on an outing such as snacks. This would be done with the client’s own funds. Clients are allowed to have money in their possession during approved outings, but otherwise are not permitted to carry cash or negotiable instruments, including ATM Cards or Credit Cards. These items will be secured by Land Manor for the entirety of your admission.
TRANSPORATION
All Land Manor programs provide transportation for essential appointments, including meeting your medical needs. However, transportation is scheduled based on the urgency of the need, and not all transportation for non-essential items may be provided. Clients who have earned privileges to leave the facility unsupervised by arrange their own travel with a sponsor, loved one, or using public transportation. Clients at an Intensive Residential level of care, or those on restriction, may not leave the facility unsupervised.
